Noémie Lafaurie-Debany is a Partner at Balmori Associates. The landscape and urban design practice founded in 1990 by Diana Balmori is recognized internationally for designing sustainable infrastructures that serves as the interface between landscape and architecture. Noémie played a role in activating BAL/LABs within Balmori Associates, to further push the boundaries of architecture, art and engineering: Green roofs, Floating islands, Temporary landscapes, Forms of representation, Zero waste city, among others. She’s currently managing the construction administration phases of outdoor spaces of two residential towers in New York City and the design of green roofs and terraces for Capitol Crossing in Washington, DC.

Trained as an architect at the École Nationale Supérieure D'Architecture De Nancy, France, Noémie was awarded a scholarship and spent her final year studying Nordic design and architecture at the University of Oulu in Finland.
