This five-day workshop will assist individuals working with data to apply efficient curation practices to ensure the usability and safekeeping of data resources. Participants will learn about best practices for managing research data, how to apply them to daily operations, and the types of tools that can assist in curation efforts throughout the data curation, from preparing data for archiving to optimizing data for reuse. An ICPSR social science dataset will serve as a case study and participants will track the dataset as it makes its way through the ICPSR pipeline.
