This project will expand existing guidelines with recommendations for refined production workflows, archiving methods and best practices based on image use and capture methods and promote the use of the guidelines through a Web site and awareness campaigns within the professional photographer community.

  • Research and analysis of workflows to archive digital photographs
  • Assess the compatibility of various digital photography software applications, including those intended for proprietary RAW formats, and their ability to read, write, and preserve digital photographs and their associated metadata.
  • Hold workshops and other outreach events to present analysis and best practices.
