Develop Outreach Materials
In May 2011, DPOE launched the first national calendar of digital preservation training opportunities in the United States. The DPOE Training Calendar lists an array of continuing education courses and workshops nationwide, many of which are free or low-cost. The calendar includes information about training opportunities such as format (online, onsite, etc.), location, cost range, date, and contact information.
Topics range from how to preserve your personal digital photographs to higher-level topics in digitization and metadata, with courses for all skill levels and interests in the preservation of born digital content.
