You have to start somewhere and this workshop gives you the basics. You are introduced to the principles of appraising, accessioning, preserving and providing access to records in digital formats. Upon completing this workshop you’ll be able to: Identify goals and objectives for addressing electronic records within your own institution's mission Discuss and examine various technical and organizational issues Develope a tentative plan for action within your organization Who should attend? This workshop is intended for archivists who have a good understanding of archival principles and techniques but need basic training in how to apply those principles to records in electronic form.
